Repasando "Eros y Civilizacion" de Marcuse
[English version below]

The other day I was reviewing "Eros and Civilization” Marcuse (Seix Barral 9 th Spanish ed.1976). Here some quick comments:
- I disagree with the pejorative conception of the concept of Nirvana that is evident in this syllogism that underlies Freud's theories (p. 37)
Life instinct (Eros) -> Pleasure Principle -> Nirvana Principle -> Death Instinct (Thanatos)
When I really think it should be
Life instinct (Eros) -> Pleasure Principle -> Nirvana Principle -> Desiree of Unity and Wholeness(Consciousness).
***
- Should not Marcuse link the concept of "surplus repression" to Marx's "surplus value"?(P. 48).
***
- In the late Freud's meta-psychology theory of "instincts [...] [...] are defined as a driving force that gives life a defined process direction (Richtung) , considering as principles of life (p. 39) Can you read this in teleological key?
***
- In the light of the idea of a non-repressive sublimation, Freud's definition of Eros as a struggle to form the living substance into ever larger units, so that life can be prolonged and brought to a higher development (p. 197) to a whole new meaning. The biological drive is extended by a cultural impulse: again "is a direction in the evolution of the universe?, is that consciousness?

De teorías y utopía- On theories and utopias

These structures and systems that we discovered in the world are mainly an a priori vision that the observer inherit from their ancestors (evolutionary and genealogical), which throws on its environment and that depends heavily on their determination, ethics and desire (in the way Spinoza understood it).
It is therefore important not to let the discovery of these structures, their mapping, survey and study to professionalize and institutionalize too much as they would lose the freshness and innovation necessary to provide a basis for predicting with the new and the best in mind, construct theories with potential for new emergencies, in order to decrease the suffering, increased joy, and the birth of the best.

Espirales, patrones y estructuras - Spirals, patterns and structures
[English version below]
In his 5 lessons of philosophy Zubiri presents the history of philosophy according to its purpose following these generic stages:
1 - Aristotle: the entity
2 - Kant: object
3 - Comte: scientific facts
4 - Bergson immediate facts
5 - Dilthey: life
6 - Husserl's phenomenological essence
7 - Heidegger: pure Being
Although not explicitly it seems he finds some kind of underlying pattern, of what kind? perhaps a linear structure of progress toward the more abstract, some sort of progress that increasingly and in a more radical way questions the myth of the given?

Falsa conciencia - False consciousness
[English version below]
According to Marx, is the social being that determines consciousness, not consciousness that determines social being. In terms of Wilber's AQAL this means that the lower-right quadrant (the social) determines the upper-left (the subjectivity of the individual).
Karl Marx called false consciousness as individual´s thinking that is inconsistent with their material conditions of existence.
Gustavo Bueno, who is carrying out an important work of recapitulation and updating of materialist philosophy, says that the term “false consciousness” refers to any system of beliefs or ideas (what he calls ortogram) that has lost the ability to correct their own mistakes. Any material that may put into question would be soaked up, neutralized. As a good materialist he situates false consciousness in lower-right quadrant (the social).
Wilber maintains that false consciousness happens when the conscience of the upper-left quadrant not only differs from what the individual lives in his/her lower-right quadrant, but further fails to recognize how the other three quadrants (nature, society and culture ) affect and mold his/her consciousness (Wilber, K, "Integral Spirituality" Shambala Ed., p. 45-46).
One of those elements that mold from the bottom-right will be ortograms, which of course if they are closed and exclusionary will be particularly alienating hampered any development of both individual and social consciousness.
