Falsa conciencia - False consciousness

Según Marx, es el ser social el que determina la conciencia, no la conciencia la que determina el ser social. En terminos AQAL de Wilber (OCON en castellano) significaría que el cuadrante inferior-derecho(la base social) determina el superior-izquierdo (la subjetividad del individuo).

Karl Marx denominó como falsa conciencia al pensamiento de los individuos que no es consecuente con sus condiciones materiales de existencia.

Gustavo Bueno, que está llevando a cabo una importantísima labor de recapitulación y actualización de la filosofía materialista, dice que el término falsa conciencia hace referencia a cualquier sistema de creencias o ideas (lo que el llama ortograma) que haya perdido la capacidad de corregir sus propios errores. Cualquier material que pueda ponerlo en tela de juicio sería así asimilado, neutralizado. Como buen materialista sitúa la falsa conciencia pues en el cuadrante inferior-derecho (la base social).

Wilber mantiene que la falsa conciencia se da cuando la conciencia del cuadrante superior-izquierdo, del individuo, no sólo difiere de lo que vive en su cuadrante inferior-derecho, si no que no reconoce cómo los otros tres cuadrantes (naturaleza, sociedad y cultura) la afectan y la moldean (Wilber, K, "Espiritualidad Integral" Ed Kairos, p. 86).

Uno de esos elementos que la moldean desde el inferior-derecho serán los ortogramas, que por supuesto si son cerrados y excluyentes serán especialmente alienantes y obstaculizadores para cualquier evolución de la conciencia tanto individual como social.

Karl Marx called false consciousness as individual´s thinking that is inconsistent with their material conditions of existence.

Gustavo Bueno, who is carrying out an important work of recapitulation and updating of materialist philosophy, says that the term “false consciousness” refers to any system of beliefs or ideas (what he calls ortogram) that has lost the ability to correct their own mistakes. Any material that may put into question would be soaked up, neutralized. As a good materialist he situates false consciousness in lower-right quadrant (the social).

Wilber maintains that false consciousness happens when the conscience of the upper-left quadrant not only differs from what the individual lives in his/her lower-right quadrant, but further fails to recognize how the other three quadrants (nature, society and culture ) affect and mold his/her consciousness (Wilber, K, "Integral Spirituality" Shambala Ed., p. 45-46).

One of those elements that mold from the bottom-right will be ortograms, which of course if they are closed and exclusionary will be particularly alienating hampered any development of both individual and social consciousness.
